As we head into spring, we want to share a brief update on what’s happening at the Friendship Commons site in the weeks and months ahead. GEICO has entered into an agreement to sell the property to EYA, which will lead the redevelopment of the site together with Bernstein Management. Read the update here.

FOREST CONSERVATION PLAN APPLICATION
Preparing the Site for Future Redevelopment
A Forest Conservation Plan (FCP) has been filed with Montgomery County and is necessary for the demolition of the existing building to proceed. The demolition of the existing building will help prepare the site for future redevelopment. Residents may notice signs along the property directing passersby to the County’s website for more information or you can click here to review the application.
