Planning for the future of Friendship Commons.

WELCOME TO FRIENDSHIP COMMONS

Overview of the Friendship Commons Preliminary Plan Amendment

The Montgomery County Planning Board recently approved an amendment to the Preliminary Plan for Friendship Commons that will enable its redevelopment process to continue, consistent with the County's goals and objectives for the Friendship Heights area.

The transformation of the 26-acre property at Willard Avenue and Friendship Boulevard will unfold over several phases, shaped by ongoing planning work, community engagement, and the Montgomery County review process.  The project will require any developer to submit a revised Preliminary Plan and Site Plan once more specific plans for the site are prepared.
